Grande suite Eugénie de Montijo

Here is an ode to light, a tribute to the intriguing, intransigent Last Empress of France: Eugénie de Montijo. The suite salutes her nobility in an outpouring of 19th Century Empire Style: pastel silks, herringbone parquet floors, and a collection of art works from the period.

Each of its rooms is a miniature marvel, doorway to dreams, to the expression of the senses.

This “grande suite” is an idyllic hideaway, its windows opening onto the courtyard of the “Petit Hameau”.
